Synopsis
Jack Strong (2014) is a Polish espionage thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Władysław Pasikowski, it follows Colonel Ryszard Kukliński, one man who set himself against the full weight of the Warsaw Pact.
The Cold War is at its peak. Kukliński, a senior officer in the Polish army, gets a look at the classified plans: should a major war break out, the Soviets are ready to make his homeland the nuclear battlefield against NATO. When the army guns down striking workers in Gdańsk, his doubts harden into resolve. Using his access to top-secret files, he reaches out to the CIA himself under the codename Jack Strong, then spends years handing over thousands of pages — gambling his own life and his family's. Marcin Dorociński plays the lead, with Patrick Wilson as his CIA handler and Maja Ostaszewska as his wife.
For 123 minutes the dread builds not from gunfire but from a phone ringing at the wrong moment, a neighbor's glance held a second too long. It's for viewers who want a cold, documentary-grade spy story about what a single act of conscience can cost. Stream Jack Strong (2014) online on iFILM.
