Synopsis
Noble House (1988) is a four-part American miniseries based on James Clavell's novel of the same name — watch online on iFILM. Pierce Brosnan plays Ian Dunross, the new tai-pan of Struan's, a Hong Kong trading empire stretched thin by years of poor management. He courts American billionaire Linc Bartlett for the capital the company desperately needs. Bartlett quietly backs Dunross' rival instead — handing everything to Quillian Gornt.
What follows is a fight for Hong Kong's most powerful commercial dynasty, played out through boardroom maneuvering, shifting alliances, and the city's volatile 1960s backdrop of typhoons, land crises and Cold War pressure. Denholm Elliott and John Rhys-Davies round out a strong cast.
