Bim

"Bim" (2023) is a Belgian animated family film you can watch online on iFILM. Bim is a seven-year-old winged bell who isn't much of a flyer — but luck lands him, Pi, and Bommel on a mission to Rome: retrieve the magic elixir that ends winter and wakes up spring. Their guide, the seasoned Aurora, turns out to have plans of her own for the elixir.

Directed by Tom Van Gestel, this runs a tight 70 minutes and is aimed squarely at young children. The flying-bell world is cheerful, the stakes are appropriately small, and the message — everyone has their own kind of talent — comes through without turning preachy.
