Camino

Camino (2023) is a Danish comedy-drama — watch online on iFILM. Director Birgitte Stærmose sets up the story around a daughter and her estranged father who haven't spoken properly in years, then sends them walking hundreds of kilometres across Spain to honour her late mother's final wish.

Danica Curcic plays Regitse, Lars Brygmann plays Jan. They have unfinished history and a long trail ahead. The Camino de Santiago provides the landscape — other pilgrims, roadside stops, blisters — but the real distance being covered is between two people who keep deferring the conversation that can't wait much longer.
