Synopsis
Men & Chicken (Mænd & høns, 2015) is a Danish-German black comedy you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Anders Thomas Jensen. Brothers Gabriel and Elias learn after their father's death that they share a dad but not a mother — and that their biological father is alive on a remote island. They go looking.
What they find is three more brothers living in a crumbling estate full of locked doors, and a patriarch who sleeps through everything. Mads Mikkelsen plays Elias — crude, compulsive, completely unlike the composed characters he's known for — opposite David Dencik as the wound-tight intellectual Gabriel. Nicolaj Lie Kaas, Søren Malling and Nicolas Bro complete the household.
