Synopsis

Jane has suffered a devastating loss and needs a fresh start. She rents a spare, almost surgical minimalist house from architect Edward Monkford, who comes with a list of strict house rules and a habit of remaining involved in his tenant's life long after handing over the keys. The more time Jane spends there, the more she uncovers about the previous tenant — a woman whose story in that house ended badly. The series runs both timelines in parallel without rushing to show where they meet.
