Synopsis

Early 1960s. Five young Black men build a vocal group from nothing, working their way from street corners to packed venues to the top of the charts. Fame arrives, and so does everything that comes with it: bad contracts, money disputes, substance problems, and the slow erosion of the friendships that started it all. Each of the five men finds a different way to handle the weight.
