Simon (Season 1)

Simon (2025) is an Armenian-Russian drama-comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Arman Marutyan. In the small town of Berd, a builder named Simon is being buried. He was a fine roofer and bricklayer. He was also a serial romantic who kept four women in love with him simultaneously.

All four show up at the funeral — Sylvia, Eliza, Sofia, Susanna. His wife Melania lets them in. No confrontations. Instead the women sit together and remember: what Simon gave each of them, what he cost them, what they chose to overlook and why. Grant Tokhatyan and Olga Kabo lead a cast that handles the material without sentimentality or judgment. Simon himself only appears in flashback, but the whole film is shaped around him.
