Synopsis
A dusty little town on the Volga, mid-2000s, one of those summers where everyone thinks they've already seen it all. Summer. Zero (2023) is Sergei Ilyutin's coming-of-age comedy you can watch online on iFILM. At its center is fifteen-year-old Sasha (Timofey Kochnev), a sharp, cocky kid convinced he's ready for the grown-up world.
The break starts the way they always do: messing around with friends, hanging out at the local arcade, a first summer job, a girl from the class next door. Then this particular summer breaks the pattern. Sasha ends up responsible for someone else's life, squaring off against an old rival from the rough side of town, and falling in love for the first time. The carefree part ends faster than he'd like.
