Synopsis
The Curse (Klątwa, 2025) is a Polish comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Out of a job and out of a home yet again, the heroine played by Vanessa Aleksander heads back to the family house where her mother and grandmother live.
Her estranged sister turns up too. Mom is quietly praying the two will finally get along; Grandma has other ideas. She decides it's time to spill the family secret — a curse that has hung over their bloodline since the seventeenth century, and the real reason behind their endless streak of bad luck. Soon the bickering gives way to a single, gloriously ridiculous goal: lift the ancient hex before it finishes the family off for good. Agnieszka Więdłocha and Danuta Stenka round out a household no one would envy.
Directors Tomasz Konecki and Iwona Ogonowska-Konecka keep it light and warm — superstition chases, domestic mishaps and a soft landing at the end. It's a watch for an evening when you want to laugh at relatives, preferably someone else's. Stream The Curse (2025) online on iFILM.
