Synopsis
Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation (2017) is Chappelle's fourth Netflix special — watch it online on iFILM. Filmed on November 20th, 2017 at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, the set catches him in a more reflective mode than his earlier comeback specials from the same year.
He takes on the wave of sexual misconduct allegations that tore through Hollywood in late 2017, working through the material without a safety net and without particularly caring who's in the room. He also circles back — for the first time at any length — to why he walked away from his own show in 2005, turning down a $50 million deal at the height of its run.
