Synopsis
Love & Art (Kulturnaya komediya, 2024) is a Russian comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Perm official Viktor Letayev has spent years running road construction and bulldozing his way to results. He's good at his job and proud of it — everything else leaves him cold. "You can't heat a house with art," and that pretty much sums up his worldview.
His comfortable routine cracks when culture and the arts suddenly top the region's priority list. To keep his chair, the hardened pragmatist has to crack open the books and take private lessons from art historian Marina. Chekhov, Pasternak, museum halls — territory where he's about as graceful as a bull in an antique shop. Marina, meanwhile, faces a near-impossible task: civilizing a man who genuinely doesn't see the point.
