They Were Ten (Ils étaient dix, 2021) is a French crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Director Pascal Laugier — the filmmaker behind Martyrs — takes the Agatha Christie framework and moves ten strangers to an isolated tropical island resort from which there is no way back.

The invitations were anonymous. The guests have nothing obvious in common — except, as it turns out, the things each of them buried. Samuel Le Bihan, Mathilde Lutz and Guillaume De Tonquédec lead a strong ensemble, and the show gives every character enough history to make them a credible suspect.
