Glória (Season 1)

Glória (2021) is a Portuguese historical drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Set in early 1960s rural Portugal, it centres on the RARET facility — an American radio station tucked inside the small village of Glória-do-Ribatejo that broadcasts Western programming across what was then called the Iron Curtain.

Young engineer João Vidal works at the station. His family has ties to the Estado Novo dictatorship; nobody would flag him as a security risk. Soviet intelligence is counting on exactly that. What starts as a single intelligence favour turns into a sustained double life, played out in a town where everyone watches everyone else and trust is a resource nobody has in surplus.
