The Accused

The Accused (Acusada, 2018) is an Argentine thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Gonzalo Tobal. Dolores, a student from a well-off family, becomes the only suspect in the brutal murder of her closest friend.

Two years on, the trial begins — and the case has long since turned into a media circus, with cameras, headlines and a public verdict handed down well before the court's. Her parents (Leonardo Sbaraglia and Inés Estévez) fight for her while keeping her under a microscope: how she looks, what she eats, whom she sees. The closer the hearing gets, the more buried secrets surface, including inside the family itself.
