Synopsis
Zombie Detective (좀비탐정, 2020) is a South Korean comedy drama you can watch online on iFILM. Kim Moo-Young has been a zombie for two years: no memory of who he was, but a working knack for passing as human — don't breathe on people, don't flinch at the smell of food.
To dig up his own past, Moo-Young opens a small detective agency. Kong Sun-Ji talks her way in as his partner — a former TV journalist who walked off a high-profile "Santa Killer" story. She has no idea her new boss has been dead for two years. The mysteries they solve for other people keep inching toward his own.
Choi Jin-hyuk's twitching, joint-cracking lead is the whole draw here: this is less horror than a sitcom about a corpse trying very hard to look normal, with Park Ju-hyun bringing the energy as his skeptical partner. Stream Zombie Detective (2020) online on iFILM.
