Synopsis
Likhach (2020) is a Russian crime detective series you can watch online on iFILM. Sergey Sotnikov runs the criminal investigation department in Sochi, and the nickname "Likhach" — roughly "the daredevil" — comes from the reckless way he tears down the mountain roads.
Sotnikov is the deputy chief, stubborn and a headache for his bosses. He could have taken the top job years ago, but a desk and paperwork aren't his style — he'd rather be in the chase. The seaside resort looks carefree, yet murders, robberies and frame-ups pile up under the palm trees, and Sotnikov goes after every case head-on, ignoring rank and his own safety. Nikita Panfilov carries the lead as a cop who simply can't sit still.
