Synopsis

Milly and Jess have known each other since childhood and share almost everything. Then their paths split: Jess is finally pregnant after years of trying, while Milly is diagnosed with breast cancer. Treatment changes Milly in ways she can barely face, strains her marriage to Kit, and tests the one connection both women assumed would never break.
Dominic Cooper, Paddy Considine and Jacqueline Bisset fill out the cast. Hardwicke skips the easy sentiment, leaving room for anger, dark jokes and awkward moments that real closeness has to survive.
