Synopsis
Dream Like a Life (Son kak zhizn, 2014) is a Russian melodrama you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Ekaterina Dvigubskaya, it follows Zhenya, a woman haunted by the same dream for eight years straight.
In that dream her son — the boy who died at birth — begs her to find him and bring him home. Zhenya can no longer tell which life is the real one: the waking world with her husband and mother, or the place where a child reaches out for her. Every vision leaves her with a nosebleed, and her family keeps her sedated to dull the grief. Marina Denisova carries the lead, alongside Andrey Frolov and Tatyana Lyutaeva.
Then she stumbles on her late father's will, which leaves everything to a grandson who supposedly never existed. Convinced it is no accident, she runs from home to learn the truth.
