Synopsis
A Tale Dark & Grimm (2021) is a Netflix animated series you can watch online on iFILM, based on Adam Gidwitz's novel of the same name.
Hansel and Gretel escape their own story and wander into other fairy tales — each one pulled from the Grimm collection and presented in its original, decidedly unhappy form. Witches, trolls, and the devil himself all get their turn, while an offscreen narrator cheerfully warns parents when things are about to get too intense for young viewers.
