Preppers (2021) is an Australian comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. After her life falls apart, Charlie — a young Aboriginal woman — ends up at Eden 2, a mismatched community of doomsday preppers who are dead serious about surviving the end of the world.

Director Steven McGregor doesn't go for easy mockery. The actual joke is more pointed: people rehearsing evacuation drills and cataloguing freeze-dried food find themselves gently shown up by a woman from a culture that has lived on this continent for sixty thousand years without a bug-out bag.
