His former combat coach Vyshenkov now heads railway security and offers Gromov command of a Rapid Action Team built to keep the gangs off a thousand kilometres of track. A well-paid post is waiting back in the capital, and Gromov nearly turns it down. Then bandits attack Vyshenkov, and everything shifts. He stays to finish what his friend started.

With investigator Dmitry Kulikov and psychologist Irina Tikhonova at his side, he digs into the violence around the hub and runs up against an enemy who will do anything to bury the truth. Anton Pampushny, Oleg Taktarov and Dmitry Ulyanov head the cast. It's solid genre fare for viewers who like their fistfights spaced out with detective work.
