Synopsis
High School (2022) is a Canadian-American drama series you can watch online on iFILM, based on the memoir by musicians Tegan and Sara Quinn. Late-nineties Calgary: twin sisters Tegan and Sara transfer to a new school after their parents split up, and each has to figure out who she is when the person who knows her best is right down the hall.
The show runs their stories in parallel, and the gap between them is the point. Tegan drifts toward punk shows and a relationship she is not ready to name. Sara finds her crowd in the rave scene and starts writing music. Directors Clea DuVall and Rebecca Asher cast real-life twins Railey and Seazynn Gilliland as the leads, with Cobie Smolders as their mother.
