Synopsis
Bali 2002 (2022) is an Australian drama series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Katrina Irawati Graham and Peter Andrikidis. On the night of 12 October 2002, two bombs ripped through the nightclub strip in Kuta, killing 202 people — the majority of them Australian tourists — in Indonesia's deadliest attack.
The series follows not the perpetrators but the people caught inside: Balinese locals, survivors, field medics and first responders from both countries who acted without a playbook, in smoke and chaos. Claudia Jessie and Richard Roxburgh lead the cast. It's deliberately unglamorous — less about heroism as a concept and more about what ordinary people actually did, minute by minute, in the worst night of their lives.
