Early 1990s. The Colombian government is trying to extradite drug lords to face American courts, and a paramilitary group called Los Extraditables is prepared to use kidnapping as a weapon against that policy. Maruja Pachón and her sister-in-law Beatriz Villamizar are taken — the wife and sister of congressman Alberto Villamizar. Police slowly piece together clues. Alberto doesn't wait: he runs a parallel operation to get his family back. Juan Pablo Raba and Cristina Umaña lead the cast as the congressman and Maruja — people holding each other together from opposite sides of a locked door.
