Synopsis
Tverskaya (2022) is a Russian crime detective series you can watch online on iFILM. Major Ivan Sobolev has barely set foot in Moscow before he's tagged as a murder suspect.
What his new colleagues don't yet realize is that this outsider is their boss — the incoming chief of the Tverskaya criminal-investigation unit. Sobolev once commanded a SOBR special-forces squad in conflict zones, until a wound ended that career. A comfortable post back home in Siberia was his for the asking, but for reasons he keeps to himself he chose Moscow instead. The squad greets him coldly: they wanted Bondarev, a plain, brave, honest cop everyone expected to land the job.
Directed by Mikhail Kabanov, with Ivan Kolesnikov, Vitaly Kishchenko and Sergei Sosnovsky. Police chief Zatsepin suspects Sobolev is angling for his seat too, and things with sharp defense lawyer Luiza sour from the first meeting.
