Synopsis
Fate by the Book of Changes (2022) is a Russian comedy detective series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Pyotr Amelin and based on Tatyana Ustinova's novel of the same name. Fiction writer Manya Polivanova — who publishes under the name Marina Pokrovskaya — travels to St. Petersburg to help her aunt Emiliya and ends up filling in as her secretary.
Aunt Emiliya runs a thriving clairvoyant practice, and Manya, a firm skeptic, finds herself watching a parade of clients with complicated problems. When Emiliya is murdered, Manya takes on the investigation herself — and the prophecies her aunt left behind start coming true one by one.
