Synopsis
One winning lottery ticket, three broke friends, and one very bad day — Two Lottery Tickets (Două lozuri, 2016) is available to watch online on iFILM. Romanian director Paul Negoescu built his film around a premise that's almost painfully simple: three cash-strapped men from a small provincial town pool their money on a ticket, win, and lose it within minutes.
Dorian Boguță, Dragoș Bucur, and Alexandru Papadopol play the trio scrambling after their stolen luck across a series of increasingly chaotic situations. The script keeps piling on complications without overstaying its welcome at 86 minutes. The three leads have a natural friction that keeps the energy up throughout.
