Maya the Bee (Die Biene Maja, 2013) is a German CGI animated series for children you can watch online on iFILM. Director Daniel Duda reimagined the classic European character in full 3D, keeping the meadow setting but filling it with new creatures and comic mishaps every episode.

Maya is a young bee who finds hive life too cramped and sets off to explore. Out in the meadow she meets snail Shelby, worm Max, and her best friend Willy — a lazy, perpetually hungry bee who somehow always shows up when it counts. Episodes are short, cheerful, and built around small-scale discoveries and the pleasures of friendship rather than big danger.
