Timur and His Team

Seventeen-year-old Zhenya travels from St. Petersburg to a border village to say goodbye to her volunteer brother before a long separation. There she crosses paths with a local informal leader known by the call sign Timur and his tight-knit crew of young people who quietly help those around them. Gaidar's original themes of solidarity and loyalty return in a new setting, and the connection between Zhenya and Timur grows into something neither of them expected.
