Taiga: Survival Course (2002) is a Russian action-adventure series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Alexander Aravin. The setup is stripped down: bad weather grounds a small aircraft at a regional airport, but a handful of passengers find a pilot willing to fly anyway.

One of those passengers has a reason to avoid the destination city at all costs — he stole money from the Chinese mob and knows exactly what is waiting for him in Severskoye. A threat against the pilot forces the plane down into the Siberian forest, where it breaks apart on landing.
