The Art of Crime (L'Art du crime, 2017) is a French detective series you can watch online on iFILM. Detective Antoine Verlay — played by Nicolas Gob — has just been pushed out of homicide for refusing to play nice, and lands at the OCBC, the unit handling stolen and forged artworks. His new partner is Florence Chassagne (Éléonore Bernheim), an art historian on secondment from the Louvre who literally hallucinates conversations with long-dead painters.

Antoine can read a crime scene in minutes but can't tell a Monet from a Manet; Florence can date a brushstroke but finds police work completely baffling. Together they take on forgeries, art-world murders and high-end theft across Paris. Light in tone but solidly constructed, with a central pairing that has real comedic chemistry.
