Synopsis
The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (2012) is an Aardman family animation you can watch online on iFILM. The Pirate Captain wants one thing: the Pirate of the Year award. The catch is that he and his crew are spectacularly bad at actual plundering.
Hunting for a bigger haul, the captain and his ragtag misfits sail into Victorian London, where they run into a young Charles Darwin and his talking chimpanzee, Mr. Bobo. Darwin dangles the promise of fame through science, but a pirate-hating Queen Victoria stands squarely in the way. The voice cast includes Hugh Grant, Martin Freeman, Imelda Staunton, David Tennant and Salma Hayek.
