Synopsis

Matuszyński shoots Warsaw as a city that breathes — the period detail is meticulous, the moral atmosphere pitch-black. If you came to Peaky Blinders for its raw gang politics more than its English romance, this is the Polish equivalent, darker and with higher historical stakes.
