Synopsis

Sept-Tours is in chaos. Benjamin, a creature from Matthew's buried past, has spent centuries perfecting his grudge and is ready to collect. The Book of Life is still incomplete; the missing pages are scattered across unwilling hands. Jack Blackfriars, the ward they brought back from Elizabethan London, is losing the fight against blood rage. At the centre of it all: twin infants that enemies are already targeting, and a Congregation that sees its opening.
