Synopsis
Small Prophets (2026) is a British series you can watch online now on iFILM. Michael Sleep has spent seven years trying to make sense of the night his girlfriend Clea vanished.
Instead of moving on, he starts building homunculi — small prophetic spirits assembled in his garden shed, meant to tell him what's coming next. What follows is grief, dry British comedy and a detective plot all tangled together, closer to a séance than a sitcom. Mackenzie Crook, known for Detectorists and the Pirates of the Caribbean films, writes, directs and stars in it, and Monty Python's Michael Palin shows up in the cast too.
Nothing here relies on spectacle — the tone stays low, almost domestic, like grief filtered through a garden shed rather than a therapist's office. Small Prophets streams in full on iFILM.
