Eugenio Derbez plays the older Maximo Gallardo, looking back on the summer of 1984 when his younger self (Rafael Alejandro) landed a coveted job at Las Colinas, the hottest resort on the Mexican Riviera. It was supposed to be the beginning of everything.

It is — just not the way he planned. Demanding guests, backstabbing coworkers, a boss impossible to impress, and a first love complicated enough to derail the whole dream. Every episode adds a new layer of chaos underneath the sun-soaked postcard surface.
