Synopsis
Ni Svat, Ni Brat (roughly "Not Even Family", 2026) is a Russian family drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Director Marat Kim centers the show on chef Maxim (Oleg Nazarov), whose marriage falls apart over a single conversation.
His wife Larisa (Kristina Brodskaya) comes back from a business trip in love with someone else, files for divorce, and plans to take their nine-year-old son Anton to another city. To win custody, Maxim suddenly needs a steady job and a place of his own — neither of which he has, since he sold his apartment, put the money into his wife's business, and spent years working remotely just to be around for his son. He goes back to running the kitchen at his old restaurant and moves into a building full of single women next door.
Elena Tsyplakova, Ekaterina Vulichenko, Yulia Galkina and Yanina Sokolovskaya round out the cast, while Irina Cherichenko and Anna Roskoshnaya play the new neighbors who keep tipping the family drama into a comedy of manners.
