Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi (2026) is the anime series you can watch online on iFILM, a full-length follow-up to one of the most beloved shorts in the Visions anthology.

Kara, one of the last Jedi standing, pulls together a ragtag crew of washouts and ex-Padawans on a single mission: find the ninth warrior strong enough to face a warlord who keeps getting harder to stop. The voice cast reads like a genre all-star team — Kimiko Glenn, Simu Liu, Masi Oka, Keone Young and Chase Sui Wonders among them.

Director Shunsuke Tada builds the season around the line that closed the original short: Trust in the Force. A Japan-US co-production, it keeps the anthology's hand-drawn look but trades an eight-minute runtime for a full arc — fans of the 2021 short will want to see what the expansion earns and what it loses.
