Pride (Season 1)

Pride (Гордость, 2026) is a Russian comedy-drama you can watch online about a white lie that spirals out of control. Alana (Alana Chochieva) is a trainee chef at a Moscow restaurant whose father back in Ossetia is demanding she come home and get married.

Her fix: drag home the worst possible fiancé so her father rejects him outright. The unlucky pick is Max (Alexei Onezhen), a dreamer of a bartender who just got kicked out by his own parents. He signs on for the fake engagement without knowing what he's actually walking into.

Alexander Robak plays the father, with Lyubov Tolkalina and Soslan Fidarov anchoring the Ossetian side of the family — the culture clash between Moscow kitchens and Caucasus tradition is where the comedy actually lives. Director Sergei Arutyunyan keeps it light rather than deep, but the sparring between Robak and Tolkalina is sharper than the setup promises. Catch Pride streaming on iFILM from its 2026 premiere.
