Synopsis
Bookie (2023) is a MAX comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, created by Chuck Lorre. Sebastian Maniscalco plays Danny, an old-school illegal bookmaker in Los Angeles watching his entire operation become obsolete as sports gambling goes legal state by state. The apps don't need him anymore. The clients might not either.
Danny isn't the kind of guy who adapts quietly. His circle includes a roster of equally complicated people — unstable clients, unreliable associates, family pulling in every direction — all of it unfolding across the full social geography of LA. Jorge Garcia, Vanessa Ferlito, and Charlie Sheen round out the cast.
