After her father dies without warning, Carrie is forced into public high school for the first time, and her mother can no longer keep her locked away at home. Classmates turn cruel fast. Then Carrie's own body starts doing things nobody, least of all her, can explain.
Flanagan built his name on King adaptations and slow-burn horror, and here he stretches Carrie's story across a full series instead of a two-hour movie for the first time.
