Synopsis
127 Hours (2010) is Danny Boyle's survival drama you can watch online on iFILM. James Franco plays Aron Ralston, a climber who heads alone into a remote Utah canyon and tells no one where he's going. A loose boulder shifts. His arm is pinned to the rock wall.
What follows is mostly one man and the silence around him. No water, no food, no rescue in sight. The camera stays on Franco's face, then slips into flashbacks of an ex-girlfriend (Kate Mara), of his parents, of a party he never reached. The bottle empties. The hours stack up. And a guy used to needing no one finally counts the cost of it.
