The season opens on an unusually personal note. All three hosts drive their own fathers' old cars to the Lake District — a quiet, almost sentimental episode before things get loud again. Episode two delivers the Bond special: the team works through 007's greatest rides, including an Aston Martin DB5, while Freddie races a jetpack-equipped man in an Extreme E racer. Episode three pits a new Ferrari against a classic Alfa, and the finale sends the crew into the Scottish Highlands to settle which of the Land Rover Defender, Mercedes G-Wagen and Ariel Nomad deserves the off-roader crown.
