Synopsis
Daria (1997), Season 4 — 13 episodes of MTV's animated comedy, 2000, watch online on iFILM. The wit is intact and Lawndale is still Lawndale — but season four puts Daria somewhere she genuinely doesn't know how to stand.
The season lays its main tension out slowly, across many episodes. Daria gets trapped in the school's homecoming parade. She fills in for her mother on a business trip with Jake — an episode that ends up being warmer than anyone expected. The whole family goes to a therapy retreat and has to say things aloud. Quinn acquires a guardian angel phase. Kevin breaks a leg and briefly reconsiders his entire identity. Woven through all of it is Tom, Jane's boyfriend, who keeps having too much in common with Daria for either of them to be comfortable about. The finale starts with a simple task — help Jane with hair dye — and arrives at the conversation the friendship has been circling all season.
