Synopsis
Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018) is a crime action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. The rules are gone. Federal agent Matt Graver pulls the silent assassin Alejandro back in, this time to turn Mexico's cartels against one another.
Josh Brolin plays the cold CIA operative; Benicio del Toro is the avenger who lost his family and fears almost nothing. The job kicks off with the staged kidnapping of a drug lord's daughter, then goes sideways fast. Isabela Merced plays the girl, and she cracks the whole calculation open: Alejandro refuses an order, while his Washington handlers decide to bury the loose ends, witnesses included.
Italian director Stefano Sollima takes over from Denis Villeneuve and runs the follow-up drier and meaner. Taylor Sheridan wrote the script again.
