Synopsis
The Return (1980) is a low-key sci-fi thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Greydon Clark. A geophysicist named Jennifer arrives in a small New Mexico town to set up survey gear, and finds the place anything but welcoming.
The residents are cold, the dogs turn vicious, and something is butchering local cattle. Soon the mutilations spread to people. The thread ties back twenty-five years, to a childhood night when two kids and a stranger crossed paths with a craft from the sky. Jan-Michael Vincent and Cybill Shepherd headline, while Martin Landau and Raymond Burr lend weight to a modest genre piece.
