Synopsis
"The Last Rodeo" (2025) is a family drama you can watch online on iFILM. Neal McDonough plays a retired bull-riding champion who walks back into competition — as the oldest contestant in the event's history — when his grandson needs help that money alone can't fix.
Director Jon Avnet frames the rodeo sequences around a quieter conflict: the estrangement between the grandfather and his daughter (Sara Jones), who has kept him at arm's length for years. Mikkelti Williamson and Christopher McDonald appear in supporting roles. The competition gives the story its momentum, but the scenes that land are the ones where two people who've been avoiding each other finally have to sit in the same room.
