The Room Next Door (La habitación de al lado, 2024) is Pedro Almodóvar's first English-language feature — watch it online on iFILM. Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton play two women who drifted apart after working together at the same magazine: one became an autofiction novelist, the other a war reporter.

Ingrid and Martha reunite under the weight of a terminal diagnosis. Martha is dying and has an unusual request — one that will test whether a friendship can survive the hardest kind of intimacy. Almodóvar keeps the film in close quarters: long conversations, shared memories, art and cinema as the wallpaper of two lives laid bare. Moore and Swinton carry every scene without a false note between them.
