Synopsis

The studio wants her back for a new Krueger picture the fans keep demanding. Then the nightmares return — familiar ones — except now they reach for her child. Something dark seems to be wearing Freddy like a mask, clawing its way off the film reel and into the waking world. Robert Englund straps on the bladed glove again, while Miko Hughes plays the boy whose dreams turn lethal.
Craven reinvented his own franchise seven years before Scream, turning the slasher into a story about scary movies bleeding into the lives of the people who watch them.
